Hi! I'm Madison, a sophomore at UC Berkeley majoring in Microbial Biology (pre-med) and minoring in Disability Studies. I have a deep passion for community care and advocacy! Since high school, I've volunteered in subacute pediatrics, working with a diverse set of children with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Additionally, I currently volunteer with Best Buddies, planning events for and forming social connections with local disabled adults. In addition to my volunteer background, I recently completed my EMT (Emergency Medical Technician) training at the top of my class, and am currently filing for my certification! This means I am fully trained in CPR, Basic Life Support (BLS), patient assessment, and emergency response, bringing an extra layer of clinical safety and peace of mind to the families I support.
